Plain words, because a privacy page nobody reads is not honest either.
Your answers, your progress on each unit, your exam date and your study plan are stored in your own browser's storage, on your own device. Nothing about your practice, your scores or your progress is sent to us or to anyone else. If you clear your browser's site data, switch devices, or open the site in a private window, that progress is gone, because we never had a copy of it to give back.
This site sets no cookies beyond what your browser's own local storage uses to remember your progress on your device. There is no analytics script, no advertising pixel, and no third party watching what you read or answer.
Signing in is optional and only needed for two things: keeping your progress in step across more than one device, and the paid In Depth Pass. There are no passwords. You type your email, we send a one-time link, and clicking it signs you in for up to fifteen minutes from when it was sent.
If you sign in, we store your email address, your practice history (which questions you answered, when, whether you were right, and how sure you said you were) so it can be merged across your devices, and, if you buy the Pass, your subscription status. We do not store your password, because there is no password. We store a hashed session token, never the token itself, so a copy of our database cannot be used to sign in as you.
One session at a time. Signing in on a new device or browser signs you out of wherever you were signed in before; the device you were using shows "signed out here because you signed in elsewhere" the next time it talks to our server.
We do not sell, rent, or share your email or your practice history with anyone. We use your email only to send the sign-in link and, if you ask us to, to answer a support question.
Deletion. Write to the address on our contact page and ask us to delete your account; we remove your learner record and everything tied to it (your practice history, your session, your Pass status) and confirm it is gone. If you never sign in, none of this applies to you: your progress lives only in your own browser, as described above, and we have nothing to delete because we were never sent anything.
